Bloggers Give Back

Some friends of mine are teaming up with bloggers and artisans in the area to help a family in need this Christmas.  The couple they have chosen recently had their house burn down and they were literally left with only the clothes on their back. The plan is to have an online auction of some really great products that have been donated by friends and bloggers from all over. Check the Bloggers Give Back website to see all the items that are being auctioned off, bidding begins December 15th.

I am auctioning off a floral consultation and custom bridal bouquet to one lucky bidder. Be sure to check out their site, new items are add daily. Don't forget to bid on December 15th!

Fall Bliss....

Toni was such an amazing bride to work with. She is super laid back and with input from her bridesmaids I got an idea of what they were looking for. They were a really fun group and had a lot of great ideas and wanted the bridal party flowers to be amazing and fun. Toni chose some traditional fall colors (eggplant and burnt orange), but then threw in light pink which added her own unique spin on her fall wedding. Jennifer Stafford did an amazing job capturing the wedding and was kind enough to share a few pictures with me.   I honestly love Toni's bouquet, the colors looked amazing together and even though she requested specific flowers, when I saw the gorgeous dahlias I had to use them. Thanks again to Jennifer Stafford for the photos....enjoy.

classic simplicity......

I had some leftovers from a wedding and loved the classic look of the extra large glass coke bottles. Plus I have the cutest model around. Sometimes I love simplicity!!!

pretty in pink.....

I had the pleasure of designing the florals for a really amazing couple a few weeks ago. It was so crazy because the morning of the wedding I ran a half marathon that I had signed up for before I booked the wedding. It was a bit of a crazy day, but I just couldn't say no to this sweet bride. Here are a few pictures of the bouquet, the wedding colors were hot pink, light pink and navy blue.

White and elegant.....

I am waiting on some pictures from the professionals....but here are a few that I snapped before delivery of a wedding that I did in July. It was an all white garden wedding that turned out so elegant and beautiful. The bridesmaids wore cute little pearl bracelets with a large football mum and they turned out so cute and such a great statement. I can't wait to get the professional pictures....but this will have to do for now.

Flowers used oriental lilies, football mums, lisianthus, stephanotis, dahlias, and freesia.

Hayley & Eric: Sneak Peak

Hayley's wedding turned out to be so much fun and beautiful. It was very colorful and chic, just like the bride. There were so many fun elements to this wedding including bright colors, hanging empty frames, balloons, buttons and lots and lots of flowers. This wedding was so much work, but worth every ounce of effort. It added an extra challenge that not only was I in charge of the decor, but I was also in the wedding party, so I had to work hard and look pretty (which I may never do again).

I am waiting on pictures from the fabulous photographer, but for now here are a few that my husband snapped!!

The cute couple and the bouquet that was so bright and fun!!
The cake

These kissing balls hung above the cake!

Hayley Bridals....

Remember my inspiration board for the July wedding....well here are the gorgeous bridals. They turned out amazing and the bride is gorgeous (she is also my sister, so I'm a little bias). A special thanks to Sara Westbrook for the fantastic photos.

Mother's Day....

I had a lot of fun with flowers this past weekend. I had an order for a really fun Mother's Day arrangement and I love the way it turned out. I ordered enough flowers to do a couple arrangements for some other fantastic mothers that I know. I love the combination of the red, white, and aqua, it brings a playfulness to the arrangements. Blue is a popular wedding color this year, and can't you see why!!!

Spring, Spring, Spring....

I am so excited for spring, maybe a little too excited, especially since there is snow in tomorrows forecast. I made a few fun spring inspired arrangements for a dinner party and loved how bright and full of color they are. Tulips are one of my all time favorite flowers, they can add drama and class to any arrangement. Here is a little teaser for the spring that I hope is coming soon.

Chelsey & TJ REVISITED

I just got some professional pictures from Chelsey and TJ's wedding. The wedding was photographed by the super talented Bryant Livingston. It is amazing what difference a professional makes.
